Don started playing as a professional musician at the age of 14. He started playing original material with local Dallas bands Lightning, Full Force, and Austin based Too Smooth.
He has been with Custom Made (a.k.a The Wonders), a corporate party band, for over 20 years and played as an opening act for The Beach Boys, Willie Nelson, The Pointer Sisters, The Temptations, Four Tops, Jay Leno, Frankie Avalon, Three Dog Night, Ben Vereen, Dave Mason, KC and the Sunshine Band, Kool and the Gang and many others.
He has also played for President George W. Bush at the republican convention in Washington D.C., and the Inaugural Ball in New York City.
Don has taught guitar lessons for the last 16 years, and is now teaching at the legendary Charley's Guitar Shop in Dallas, Texas.
